Facilities

As an active learning environment for students of a wide age range, the facilities of Immaculate Conception - St. Joseph School have expanded over the years to offer the space and technology necessary to provide students with an exceptional academic and faith-filled experience at each of our two state of the art campus buildings.

North Park Campus | PreK3 - 3rd Grade

Immaculate Conception School opened in September of 2002 in the humble mid-century school building which had housed the previous incarnation of Immaculate Conception School from 1952 - 1980.

Two modern additions completed in 2003 and 2008 added four large early childhood classrooms, a large indoor gross motor room with a 12-foot wide rock climbing wall, a visual art room, a music room. Early Childhood students enjoy daily play on the secure playground at the North Park Campus and Kindergarten through 3rd grade students use the multi-purpose Parish Hall for lunch daily.

North Park students regularly attend prayer services and masses in the Immaculate Conception Church.

Hill Street Campus | 4th - 8th Grade

As Immaculate Conception School grew through the early 2000s and our two parishes became connected, the school name was changed and a second Immaculate Conception - St. Joseph campus was opened a few blocks south at 363 West Hill Street, just west of Orleans Street, in August 2011.

This modern 60,000 square feet building provides two classrooms for each grade level from fourth through eighth grade, as well as a science lab, library, foreign language room, STEM lab, art studio, music room, full-size gymnasium with a 24-foot wide rock climbing wall and full-size stage with lighting and sound, a recreation room, and student cafeteria. Secure outdoor space includes a patio adjacent to the cafeteria and a sport court added in 2016.

Students on the Hill Street Campus attend weekly Mass at St. Joseph Church on Orleans Street. St. Joseph Church is also the site of First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, Confirmation, and Graduation Mass for ICSJ students.
