enVision - Math

Your child has engaged in activities and completed lessons using their enVision 2.0 Math book this school year. This mathematics program is designed to help your child achieve the mathematical proficiency levels established by the Common Core State Standards and provides the foundation for future math courses and career paths.

At the end of each grade level enVision Math includes a topic (or chapter) that focuses on skills to be introduced in the next academic year. These topics were not taught during this academic year as they include standards that are not part of the 3rd Grade curriculum. The Step Up to Fourth Grade lessons are included in the packet linked below. While these lessons are not required for students to complete, we encourage students to explore the topics this summer before school resumes. The lessons are not to be mastered before school starts and will be taught in full by the 4th Grade teachers throughout the upcoming academic year.

While some of the multiplication division and fraction work may be familiar to your child these workbook pages will also introduce the topic of angle measure. If you feel these lessons are too difficult for your student to work through independently, working to complete the lessons together would be appropriate.
